Gingernuts

Ingredients
  • 8 oz flour
  • 2 tsps ginger
  • 8 oz sugar
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 4 oz butter
  • 1 ½ tsp golden syrup
  • 1 egg
Directions

Cream butter & sugar, add golden syrup & egg. Sift in dry ingredients.

Roll into small balls and place on tray. Don’t flatten.

Bake at 180°C for 15-20 minutes.

Makes 2 trays.
