Gingernuts

- 8 oz flour
- 2 tsps ginger
- 8 oz sugar
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 4 oz butter
- 1 ½ tsp golden syrup
- 1 egg
Directions
Cream butter & sugar, add golden syrup & egg. Sift in dry ingredients.
Roll into small balls and place on tray. Don’t flatten.
Bake at 180°C for 15-20 minutes.
Makes 2 trays.
